Poughkeespie Friends Meeting is sponsoring an excursion to Crum Elbow Meeting House and Cemetery, the historic Society of Friends meeting house built in 1797. The surrounding rural cemetery contains plain Quaker-style markers dating from 1797 to 1890. It was listed on the [National Register of Historic Places](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Register_of_Historic_Places “National Register of Historic Places”) in 1989.

Denise Byrnes from the Hyde Park Historical Society, will give a half-hour talk about the meeting house and the cemetery at 1:00p,.. Gathering begins at 12:15pm. Bring a bag lunch if you wish.
