Next week, every member of Congress will be back in their home state for August Recess. This window between Aug. 1- 31 is an essential time to make your voice heard.

Join me and Philip Kim, senior advisor at the White House Office of Public Engagement, on Tuesday, August 1 at 8:00 p.m. EDT to learn more about how you can engage.

Philip will share how advocacy, especially from a faith perspective, can help advance change in Washington, D.C. FCNL staff will be online to talk strategy and support you.

Congressional staff tell us that visits with constituents, even no more than five minutes, can impact their decision-making. FCNL grassroots advocates have already visited close to 300 Congressional offices in 2023. Your advocacy for peace and migration justice could make a real difference at this moment.

We are aiming to get more than 70 advocates into Congressional offices during the August Congressional Recess. I hope you will join advocates in Pennsylvania in making your voice heard.

Thank you for being a part of our community of advocates. I hope to see you on August 1.
