Poughkeepsie Friends baked casseroles, tossed salads and packed -up food for delivery to The Living Room at Mels Place, a homeless shelter in Poughkeepsie, that provides 24/7 emergency shelter, services and three meals a day. Mac & Cheese, chicken noodle casserole, salad and dessert were on the menu.
Friends joined other volunteers in this on-going interfaith outreach spearheaded by the Unitarian Universalists congregation of Poughkeepsie..
